Hurray, celebrations of being admitted into the tertiary education has started. Every academic year, freshers troop in their numbers to grab their copy of admission letters. The continuing students focus on the timetable and the deadline for the payment of fees. The semester busyness and business kick starts with matriculation for the first-year students ends.

Funding of tertiary education can either be frustrating or easy and this depends on how it is done. Let us explore some "easy" to fund your tertiary education:

1. Scholarships Secretariat

This organization controls scholarships that government of Ghana wants to give to individuals. They are quoted as,
"We are an organisation under the office of the president established in 1960 and mandated to handle and award government scholarships for human resource development and growth of the country....."
- Scholarships Secretariat.

2. MTN Ghana Foundation Scholarship

This scholarship is available to fresh students at the tertiary level as well as continuing students at the tertiary level. This is the unique feature about this scholarship scheme. You can research online for the scholarship.

4. Entrepreneurship

Students have needs and wants which are satisfied profitably. Let us discuss this in a procedure;
a. Think of a need pf a student you can satisfy
b. Examine the loopholes in the existing market which are satisfying this need.
c. Equip yourself with the needed skill to start the business.
d. Prepare for setbacks.
e. Be flexible in ideas and marketing strategy.
f. Develop yourself for the business.
g. Pray and stay connected to your heavenly Being.

The above steps might not provide an extensive layout for starting a business. Recently, a group of students explored an opportunity which marked the true feature of an entrepreneur. During 2018 graduation, Kojo Asante, Kofi Atiemo, and Quophie Ghabs, which were both 2018 graduates set up
a hiring venture and their mates highly patronized it. Look at the picture;

5. GNPC Foundation

This foundation is linked to Ghana National Petroleum Corporation. They provide limited local undergraduate scholarship to prospective students for an academic year.

6. Students Loan Trust Fund (STLF)

You are wondering why I propose Student Loan Trust Fund. A needy student must not look away when STLF is mentioned.

Sometimes, when one is unable to secure a scholarship or start a business, exploring the opportunities provided by STLF is another option.  Follow the link to understand the application requirement, qualification, among others.
