The vetting for the various GIJ- SRC portfolios have been postponed until further notice.
The vetting which was scheduled to commence on Monday, November 2 and end on Wednesday, November 4 has been called off by the vetting committee members.

According to a memo from the Earl Aggrey-led committee, the postponement of was necessitated by the need for a clean and transparent process to appoint competent and trustworthy officers to manage the affairs of the students body.
Although the new date for vetting is unknown, the committee is assuring students that, it will be communicated as and when they reschedule.
They are therefore apologizing for any inconveniences caused due to this sudden change.
Aftermath
Some concerned students of the Institute have registered their displeasure about this development pushing an agenda for elections to be held come January when school will be resuming.
Others have also raised concerns of possible intents to have the process satisfy some applicants, reason for the unexpected postponement.
