5% increase in fees: CTSG enters crunch meeting with management of GIJ

Information reaching GIJ Campus Fylla indicates that leadership of the Concerned Tertiary Students of GIJ (CTSG), the coalition at the fore front of the #tertiaryfeesmustfall campaign have been invited to a meeting with management of the school.

Deep throat sources reveal that this meeting came up as a result of an intended protest the group was planning to organize to advance the course of seeing a fall in the fees of students of GIJ.

Other sources reveal that in attendance at today's meeting will be the rector and other top members of management together with the former president of the SRC, Joseph Agbezuke.

Hopefully, this meeting will clarify issues concerning payment of fees for students in GIJ who say the 5% increment in their fees is too much a cost to handle.

The #tertiaryfeesmustfall Campaign

This campaign started close to a month ago by a group identifying itself as The Concerned Tertiary Students of GIJ (CTSG).

Over the past few weeks, the group has been engaged on various media platforms where they put forth their grievances seeking to see a reduction in their fees.

These agitations, has led to the calling of this crunch meeting whose outcome many students of the institute await.
