The scheduled end of semester examinations of the Ghana Institute of Journalism which was supposed to have been done online has been postponed.
The new date as announced is from the 8th of June to the 28th of June, 2020.
A statement signed by the Registrar of the Institute indicated this decision was taken after management's meeting on Wednesday, 20th May 2020.
It went on further to state that: "All students are therefore to note that the end-of-semester
examination for the second semester of the 2019/20 Academic Year will commence on 8th June 2020 and end on 26th June 2020".
The examinations were initially supposed to come off from Monday, 25th of May to 12th June 2020.
Following the postponement, the school's administration has given students hands-on training of the new centralized examination and academic online system which is going to be used for the examinations.
Various levels have had their turns on how to use the platform through the virtual meeting application, Zoom.
