SRC donate sanitary items to help janitors work effectively

The office of the Women's Commission of GIJ-SRC has donated sanitary items to janitors of the institute charged with keeping a sanitary environment at the Ringway campus at all times. 

Led by Miss Farida Yeboah, Women's Commissioner of the SRC, together with the president and other executives, items donated include tissues, antiseptics, dustbins, mops and detergents.

According to the commissioner the donation "comes off as part of plans to keep washrooms in campus tidy and healthy for students use."

Sharing some more insights about issues of sanitation on the Ringway campus, Miss Farida Yeboah also indicated that her outfit together with the SRC will be working with the necessary quarters to ensure that other issues in line with sanitation in campus are dealt with accordingly. 

Speaking on the issue of the SRC's efforts and intentions to help the school's administration in battling the COVID-19 pandemic in campus, she said that provisions such as nose masks have been made available to students who might need some in campus.

"We have made nose masks available at the office so if you come to school without one or it gets stained, you can just pass by for one. The President is also speaking to management to make available sanitiser in all the machine installed in front of lectures halls" she said adding her outfit has also made available a First Aid box.

Appreciating the efforts of students in helping to maintain a sanitary campus, she charged students to help maintains these gains by using facilities appropriately.
