Vetting of SRC aspirants continues amidst withdrawal of 8 others

Vetting has started amid the withdrawal of eight aspirants from the race of GIJ SRC positions.

Mr. Emmanuel Earl Aggrey is the chair of the vetting and Appointments committee.

Earlier this morning, 8 out of the 15 aspirants dropped out of the vetting and appointment process, expressed displeasure about the entire process citing instances of lack of transparency, composition of the committee as well as other legal matters.

The Earl Aggrey led committee is however determined to accomplish the task they set out to with vetting currently underway.

In a memo from the committee, the first day of vetting is to see Aspirants for the organizing secretary position, External affairs, and Ismael Awudi who is going unopposed for the  financial secretary position.
