After a forceful break imposed by the outbreak of the novel coronavirus disease in Ghana, organizers of the public speaking training and contest KASANUFO have confirmed Friday, September 25th as the date for the event's grand finale. 

The finale is set to take place on September 25, 2020 at the St. Maria Hall, Christ The King; Cantonment, Accra. 


Veteran Public Speaker, Kafui Dey will be giving the main speech at the finale of the Training and Contest, organizers have confirmed.

The 8 weeks of training was thrilling and insightful and finally promises to bring out the best in the remaining contestants. Out of the 33 contestants and trainees, 21 were able to make it to the finals.  These 21 are:

  • Ayine Michael
  • Constance Antwi
  • Gyamfi Richard Sarfo
  • Bright Kojo Agyapong

  • Grace Kuenyefu
  • David Abee Dayina Ali
  • Commondore Elsie Comfort
  • Joenar Georgina
  • Wonder Fugah
  • Queen Louisa Ano-Ampofo
  • Emmanuel Essandoh Acquah
  • Senanum Kwabla Adjani
  • Edinam Sablah
  • Nina Adjoa Boateng
  • Okoto Yvonne
  • Nunya Aptesi

Appointed to preside over the competition aspect of the finale are professionals in the field of Public Speaking. The Jury is a six-member board of people with experience who will be able to judge the performances with technical eyes. They are:

  • Emmaline Datey

Mrs. Datey is the HR Manager at EIB Network, Communication Director for WomanRising and the Founder of Impact Concepts and Solutions Africa.

  • Prince Akpah

Prince is a speaker and guest lecturer on Social Media, Blogging and Internet Safety. He is the Founder and Managing Director of Avance Media, a PR and Rating Company.

  • Eric Amissah

Eric is an innovative and creative 2D animator and storyteller.

  • Dominic Asitanga

Dominic was the best student in Media Management and the Overall Best Student across all Communication discipline of the recent 13th Congregation of the Ghana Institute of Journalism.

  • AS Dzah

Mr. Dzah is a Corporate MC and a Toastmaster.

  • Samuel Swanzy-Baffoe

Samuel is a Level 400 student of the Ghana Institute of Journalism. He is a student activist and Social Commentator.
